Olympic alpine ski racers pursue a different kind of skiing with water skier Marcus Brown.
Steven Nyman and Julia Mancuso water ski with Marcus Brown on Lake Tahoe at dawn.
Both Steven and Julia were professional American alpine ski racers. Steven was known for participating in the speed disciplines (Downhill and Super G). He started 213 World Cup races, participated in five World Championships and three Winter Olympics. Julia was known more as an all-around alpine ski racer. She started 399 World Cup races (36 podiums, seven wins), participated in seven World Championships (five podiums) and four Winter Olympics (four podiums, one win).
Marcus Brown developed the FlowPoint Method, a holistic approach to competitive and recreational water skiing. Marcus was a champion collegiate water ski slalom racer and competed at the highest international levels of water skiing in the slalom event. He competed in four World Championships (one win).
These three got together 10 years ago for a morning of water skiing on Lake Tahoe. Early morning, water like glass, spectacular scenery and a great song make for an amazing video.
